The versatile product range for formulations includes specialty silicones as well as numerous aqueous emulsions for high-quality functional textile finishes and effects.

When finishing textiles, softeners are of central importance, as they give the material the desired handle or simplify subsequent processes.

They also improve technical properties such as antistatic properties, hydrophilicity, elasticity, sewability and abrasion resistance.

Hydrophilic Siloxanes:
Our portfolio includes amino-modified polysiloxanes with reduced D4 content for all fiber types. They can be easily used to formulate micro- and macroemulsions. In addition, hydrophilic sugar-modified softeners for easy-care finishing offer improved compatibility. Hydrophilic organomodified polysiloxanes improve sewing properties without risking yellowing of the white fabrics.

 

Hydrophobic siloxanes:
Our reactive silicone emulsions can be used to produce fluorine-free, waterproof systems for the textile industry with very good handle modification on cotton or synthetic fibers such as polyester. These alkyl-functional aminosiloxanes provide excellent water repellency through modification.
