Industrial and commercial textile laundries today face intense performance and sustainability pressure. Large daily laundry volumes, rising hygiene requirements, complex textiles, and stricter environmental regulations demand washing processes that are powerful, stable, and at the same time resource‑efficient. In addition, industrial textile care no longer calls for individual products, but for well‑thought‑out process solutions.

With SMART WASH, CHT offers an innovative, holistic, and modular washing and bleaching process for professional textile laundries in sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, textile rental, and workwear services.

The focus is on process precision, efficiency, and sustainability. Instead of “one‑size‑fits‑all” programs, SMART WASH is based on a clear, functional structure with five modules. These can be flexibly combined and applied as required, with each module fulfilling a clearly defined role in the washing and bleaching process.

 

THE 5 SMART WASH MODULES AT A GLACE

CLEANGezielte Schmutzentfernung durch maßgeschneiderte Tensidperformance

The CLEAN module forms the basis of an efficient washing process. It addresses different types of soiling with a surfactant system tailored to modern, resource‑efficient processes.

BEICLEAN ECO delivers strong and consistent washing and emulsifying performance at temperatures of 40-60 °C while offering high material and color compatibility. BEICLEAN ECO is 100 % plant‑based and low‑foaming, making it ideal for energy‑efficient washing systems and stable process control.

BOOST - Unlock cleaning performance with controlled alkalinity

Effective soil removal requires the right washing alkalinity. The BOOST module ensures precise control of alkalinity and specifically supports the surfactant performance.

BEIPUR ANP provides the required washing alkalinity in pre‑wash and main wash, thereby improving washing performance, especially for heavily soiled textiles. Its complexing and dispersing properties protect textiles and machines from deposits and metal‑related damage.

BIND - Stabilize the wash bath by binding hardness and metal ions

Water hardness and metal ions can significantly impair washing and bleaching performance. The BIND module stabilizes the wash bath and protects the entire process.

BEIPLEX GREEN is a phosphonate‑free, readily biodegradable complexing agent developed specifically for alkaline peroxide bleaching. Integrated anti‑greying inhibitors ensure high and stable whiteness levels. At the same time, fibers are gently treated and textile damage is reduced to a minimum, extending the textile lifespan.

ACTIVATEWhiten and sanitize by activating oxygen bleaching

For stain removal, hygiene, and high whiteness levels, controlled activation of oxygen bleaching is essential. The ACTIVATE module provides the required oxidative power in the bleaching process.

BEIBLEACH-WP 35 is a bleaching and oxidizing agent that, thanks to hydrogen peroxide, effortlessly removes dye stains, organic residues, and odors. BEIPLEACH WP 35 is particularly effective at temperatures ≥ 60 °C and in combination with alkalinity and surfactants.

BALANCE - Finish the process with precise pH adjustment

After the washing and bleaching process, precise pH correction is essential for textile protection and wearer comfort. The BALANCE module performs exactly this function and thus completes the process.

BEIACID CIT is a citric acid‑based organic neutralizer that gently neutralizes residual alkalinity and adjusts a skin‑friendly pH range. This prevents alkaline fiber damage, extends the service life of cotton and blended fabrics, and improves the hand feel of the textiles.

 

Three steps to build your Washing Process

Our process framework SELECT – DOSE – CONTROL forms the methodological core of SMART WASH. It ensures that washing and bleaching processes are consistently aligned with the real requirements of each laundry: precise, efficient, and sustainable.

1. SELECT: Choose only what your process really needs

Every laundry is different: textiles, soils, water quality, machine technology, and processes vary significantly and have a decisive impact on washing results.
SMART WASH therefore begins with an in-depth assessment of the actual process conditions. On this basis, only the technically and economically necessary modules are selected to achieve high efficiency and sustainability, while avoiding unnecessary complexity and redundant chemistry.

2. DOSE: Apply precisely under real operating conditions

Once the relevant SMART WASH modules have been selected, dosing is applied based on real influencing factors such as load factors, textile composition, linen mix, seasonal influences, and soil levels. This avoids unnecessary “safety overdosing”, which increases costs, water and energy consumption as well as textile wear.
DOSE ensures that each selected module unfolds its full performance under real laundry conditions.

3. CONTROL: Continuously monitor, review, and optimize

Sustainable washing performance is not a one‑time modulation. With CONTROL, SMART WASH therefore offers a solution for integrating continuous process monitoring, including transparent performance evaluations. Washing processes are regularly reviewed based on real data, therefore deviations are identified at an early stage, and corrected through targeted measures.
If required, SMART WASH can be combined with digital tools, remote support, and additional SMART Services such as  SMART TECHNOLOGY or  SMART PROTECTION. This ensures continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and sustainability, allowing laundries to maintain long‑term process stability even under changing conditions.
