CHT’s new Smart Air® washing process is based on the clever DFA-Technology (Direct Fog Application) - a special nebulization of chemicals on textiles. For the innovative process, a perfect combination of the smallest amount of water, washing chemicals and air is put together; then, the enzyme detergent is applied to the soiled laundry as a spray mist.
The micro-fine spray mist, consisting of enzymes and surfactants (detergent), is applied directly to the soiled laundry so that no free liquor is produced in the pre-wash, saving lots of water, chemicals and energy, in line with sustainability.
This prevents overdosing and no expensive chemicals are unnecessarily transported into the sewer, which clearly improves the wastewater values!
In addition to enzymes, detergents and fabric softeners, SMART AIR® can also be used to nebulize FC-free products for water and oil repellency as microbubbles and apply them to textiles in the pre-wash.
