Waterless stone effect

In the era of global warming, water becomes an increasingly valuable resource. Unfortunately, the textile business in general, but also the jeans treatment, was, and partially still is, a water-intensive industry. The good news: there are a lot of modern technologies to save water in jeans washing processes, like the nebulization, ozone or waterless processes.

LAB102’s waterless solution

The waterless process is an alternative treatment to the common stone wash, where a full bath of water, a huge amount of pumice stones and energy to heat up the bath is needed to get the known effect.

In the waterless treatment, no stones, no extra bath of water and therefore no energy is needed. The LAB102 products (all in powder form) are sprinkled onto the wet garments. This kind of process is water and energy saving and the wastewater load is reduced to 1/12 compared to the conventional stonewash.

Due to the absence of a water bath, the indigo tends to adhere strongly to the fibers, resulting in significant backstaining on weft threads, inner pockets, labels, and the surface of denim garments.

But with the perfect LAB102 product triple however, a clean and authentic stone wash look can be achieved and backstaining can be prevented: Clean appearance on the left side thanks to DENIMCOL CLEAN-TPP and an authentic abrasion effect on the right side caused by BEIZYM HighP together with BEIZYM PUSH.
