ECOPERL YWR | Natural performance

ECOPERL YWR fulfils the benchmark of a modern and innovative PFC-free hydrophobic agent. It is specially developed for yarn of all fibre types.

In this new development, biobased raw materials are optimally tuned in a matrix of waxes and polymers. The result is a versatile hydrophobic agent for yarns with an excellent water absorption stop. ECOPERL YWR is highly resistant to friction of any kind, either in sewing or in knitting and weaving processes.

ECOPERL YWR fulfils the criteria of known standards such as bluesign®, GOTS, ZDHC and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

 

THE INNOVATIVE WATER BARRIER FOR PFC-FREE YARNS

  • Free from PFC
  • Excellent reduction of capillary action on all fibre types
  • Outstanding water-repellent effect
  • Very good durability to washing (tested at 60°C)
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Suitable for GORE-TEX requirements
  • Suitable for exhaustion method and lick roller application. Optionally applicable on dosing systems
  • Good bath extraction and homogeneous distribution within the yarn bobbin
